Could you be the Entrepreneur of the Year at this year’s Newcastle Business Awards ?
Siemens are proud to be sponsoring the Newcastle Business Awards 2016 for a second year and to help celebrate and reward the success of local businesses. We are also delighted to be sponsoring the Entrepreneur of the Year award, a new category for this year and one that supports our rebrand ‘ingenuity for life’; a term reflecting Siemens’ commitment to innovate and develop new ideas and support the local communities and wider societies it operates in.
Entrepreneurialism is fundamental to the growth of the North East and lies at the root of so many thriving SME’s that continue to support our local economy. Similarly, our own business was founded by two entrepreneurial brothers back in 1847 which is why supporting small businesses and understanding the value they bring to the local economy has always been a key priority for us.
Entries – what are we looking for?
The entrepreneur of the year award recognises an enterprising and dynamic individual who has achieved sustained levels of growth through a culture of innovation, resilience and an ethos for inspiring others. To be eligible, businesses must be based in Newcastle.
